Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term product vision and strategy for stock broking and trading platforms, aligning with the company's business goals.
- Roadmap Development: Create and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives.
- User-Centric Development: Work closely with UX/UI teams to build intuitive, customer-focused solutions that cater to traders and investors across diverse segments.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, data science, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on trends in financial markets, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and address competitive threats.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data and analytics to measure product performance, user engagement, and overall impact, continuously iterating to improve outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, traders, and regulators, to gather insights and drive product adoption.
- Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 7-10 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on stock broking, trading platforms, or fintech products.
- Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of stock markets, trading systems, regulatory frameworks, and user behaviors in the investment space.
- Product Development: Proven track record of building and scaling successful B2C or B2B financial products.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficient in leveraging data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) for decision-making and product optimization.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and ensure feasibility of product solutions.
- Customer Focus: Passion for creating seamless and delightful user experiences tailored to traders, investors, and financial institutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
